The first day of President Trump’s ‘impeachment trial’ went exactly as you’d expect:
They voted that the impeachment of a private citizen is constitutional
They showed a carefully edited video of Trump ‘inciting insurrection’. Stripping his words of context, missing out specific comments about marching peacefully etc
Here is what the media will not tell you:
They have created the precedent for the impeachment of every ex-President…Carter, Clinton, Bush, Obama…this may come back to haunt them…
By including charges of lying about election fraud, they have given Trump the opportunity to DEFEND himself, and present EVIDENCE in a national & televised setting, something he has thus far been denied by the courts
What does this mean? Well, either you believe:
Trump didn’t realise that they were going to ‘steal’ the election, or stage a false flag at the Capitol
He knew, but didn’t do anything about either, or
He tasked the military (Probably the Space Force) with monitoring the whole show
If the answer is 3…it means that these arrogant SOBs may just have walked straight into a trap…a ‘sting’ operation if you will. Time will tell.
I have also come across one source that claims that arrests have started, and another quoting specific names of people who’ve been charged & released. I believe it, but I cannot confirm it, so I will say no more for now. As usual, it’s for you to make up your own mind.
